Application Suction Drum Filter are used for washing and concentrating fibrous products in the paper and pulp industry. Main applications are multi-stage brown-stock washing plants, washing and thickening of fibrous material with low freeness, and use as sheet formation filters for wet machines for difficult products. Principle of Operation: The Stock suspension flows with a consistency of 0.8-1% which is most favourable for the filtration process, free from turbulence, via the filter inlet box into the filter tough. the vacuum required for the filtration process is produced by a vacuum pump or a barometric tube. The circumference of the filter drum is divided into cells of equal size, connected with the control disk by a tubular system inside the drum. This control disk carries the control head dividing the zones by means of infinity plugs: 1. Sheet formation zone 2. washing and suction drying zone. 3. Discharge and ventilation zone
